Neil Hise, president of CEMCO Inc., is one of AGG1 Academy’s top rated speakers and he led June’s AGG1 Online webinar, “Tuning and Operations of VSI Crushing.” Hise brought his 45 years of experience with the operation and service of vertical shaft impact (VSI) crushers to webinar attendees. The session compares different types of impact crushers and the relationship of product output gradations and tonnage associated with horsepower need. Attendees will hear an in-depth discussion of the dynamics and configurations of a VSI and using actual processing photos and computer animation to demonstrate the physics of what happens inside a VSI. We’ll also discuss specific material, how to obtain best reduction ratios, and automation.
